EduFund For Africa
EduFund for Africa is investing in Africa’s most promising and underserved students by providing full scholarships to vetted students. The fund is made possible through the generosity of passionate individuals globally that are donating to the basket fund.
With our well-curated pool of African students on our platform, we review and select students based on their background stories, academic performance, and alignment with our fund. The fund also implements a gender-lens and inclusion approach, to foster our deliberate commitment to offering unique opportunities for women and vulnerable populations.

EduFund Crowdfunding
Individuals and institutions that are passionate about inclusive education and the future of Africa, have the opportunity to donate to the fund through the EduFund platform. 200 people donating $50 each annually will put one student to university every year. One trained talent will impact 1,000 lives in Africa, and that is the impact our donors are creating each time they donate to the fund. You can choose to make an off donation or set a reoccurring donation either per quarter or per year, to continue supporting the African dream.

Student Signup on EduFund Marketplace
Students from across Africa are eligible to sign up on the EduFund scholarship marketplace, where they fill out the required information, including academic records, references, the preferred course of a student, and university options. EduFund reviews all applications and approves them based on set requirements. Approved students will be visible to our partners and donors through our EduFund Marketplace.

Student Recruitment and Matching to Universities
At the start of each academic year, EduFund selects 100 students (depending on the available fund), carries out vetting process, and sends the pre-qualified list to the fund’s steering committee for approval. Upon approvals, EduFund will match the students to relevant universities, based on the preferred course by the students.

Fund disbursement to the Universities
Upon completing the admission processes, the partner will disburse required fees (covering tuition, accommodation, and other school-related fees) to the university directly, to ensure the fund is used for the right course. Stipends will be disbursed to the student for welfare.

Data Collection and Reporting to Donors
EduFund collects important data every semester from our partner universities and beneficiary students, showing students performance, support areas, and plans for the next semester. Our donors will be able to access these reports through their dashboard and our report center on the EduFund platform.
